How to install Flux Capture in your NetSuite account
This guide walks you through installing Flux Capture in your NetSuite environment. The installation process is straightforward and typically takes just a few minutes.
Before You Begin
Ensure you have:
- Administrator access to your NetSuite account
- Permission to install SuiteApps (bundles)
- Your Flux Capture license key (received via email after signup or trial request)
Installation Steps
Step 1: Navigate to SuiteBundler
- Log into NetSuite as an Administrator
- Navigate to Customization → SuiteBundler → Search & Install Bundles
Step 2: Find the Bundle
You can find Flux Capture using either method:
Option A: Search by Account ID (Recommended)
- In the search area, enter our account ID in the Account ID field
- Click Search
- You'll see Flux Capture in the results
Option B: Search by Bundle ID
- If provided with a Bundle ID, enter it in the Bundle ID field
- Click Search
ℹ️ Note: Contact support@fluxfornetsuite.com if you need the Account ID or Bundle ID for installation.
Step 3: Review and Install
- Click on Flux Capture in the search results
- Review the bundle details and permissions
- Click Install
- Accept the terms and conditions
- Click Install Bundle
Step 4: Wait for Installation
The installation process may take 2-5 minutes. NetSuite will display a progress indicator. You can continue working in NetSuite while it installs in the background.
Step 5: Verify Installation
Once complete, verify the installation:
- Navigate to Customization → SuiteBundler → Installed Bundles
- Confirm "Flux Capture" appears in the list with status "Installed"
- Navigate to Flux Capture in your center menu to access the application
Accessing Flux Capture
After installation, Flux Capture is accessible in several ways:
From the Menu
Look for "Flux Capture" in your NetSuite center navigation. Click to open the main application.
From a Shortcut
Your administrator can add Flux Capture to your shortcuts for quick access.
Direct URL
Access Flux Capture directly using the Suitelet URL provided after installation.
Post-Installation Setup
After installing, complete these essential setup steps:
1. Enter Your License Key
- Open Flux Capture
- Go to Settings
- Enter your license key in the License section
- Click Save

2. Configure Extraction Settings
Choose your preferred document extraction provider:
- OCI Document Understanding - Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
- Azure Form Recognizer - Microsoft's advanced AI
- Mindee - Specialized invoice extraction

3. Test with a Sample Document
- Upload a sample invoice to verify extraction is working
- Review the extracted data
- Make any needed configuration adjustments
User Roles and Permissions
Flux Capture respects NetSuite's role-based access control. Ensure users have appropriate permissions:

⚠️ Warning: Users without appropriate permissions may see errors when trying to access certain features.
Updating Flux Capture
When updates are available:
- Navigate to Customization → SuiteBundler → Installed Bundles
- Find "Flux Capture" in the list
- If an update is available, click Update
- Follow the prompts to complete the update
ℹ️ Info: Updates typically take 2-5 minutes. Plan updates during low-usage periods.
Uninstalling
If you need to remove Flux Capture:
- Navigate to Customization → SuiteBundler → Installed Bundles
- Find "Flux Capture" in the list
- Click Uninstall
- Confirm the uninstallation
🚨 Danger: Uninstalling removes all Flux Capture data including document records, settings, and learned preferences. This cannot be undone.
Troubleshooting Installation Issues
Bundle Not Found
If you cannot find Flux Capture when searching:
- Make sure you're entering the Account ID or Bundle ID correctly
- Ensure you're searching in Search & Install Bundles (not Installed Bundles)
- Contact support@fluxfornetsuite.com for assistance
Installation Failed
If installation fails:
- Check for pending bundle operations
- Ensure you have administrator permissions
- Contact support@fluxfornetsuite.com with the error message
Missing Menu Items
If Flux Capture doesn't appear in your menu after installation:
- Clear your browser cache
- Log out and back into NetSuite
- Verify your role has access to the Flux Capture SuiteApp
