How to install Flux Gantry in your NetSuite account

Before You Begin

Installing Flux Gantry takes just a few minutes. Before you start, make sure you have:

  • Administrator access to your NetSuite account
  • SuiteApp installation permissions (most Administrator roles have this by default)
  • Your license key from Flux (you'll need this after installation)

ℹ️ Tip: If you're installing in a Sandbox account for testing, you'll need a separate sandbox license key. Contact support@fluxfornetsuite.com for sandbox licensing.

Installation Steps

Step 1: Navigate to SuiteBundler

  1. Log into NetSuite with your Administrator account
  2. Navigate to Customization → SuiteBundler → Search & Install Bundles

Step 2: Find the Bundle

Search for Flux Gantry by Bundle ID:

  1. In the search area, enter 590174 in the Bundle ID field
  2. Click Search
  3. You'll see Flux Gantry in the results

ℹ️ Note: The Bundle ID for Flux Gantry is 590174.

Step 3: Review and Install

  1. Click on Flux Gantry in the search results
  2. Review the application description and permissions requested
  3. Click the Install button
  4. On the confirmation screen, review the bundle details
  5. Click Install Bundle to proceed

The installation typically completes within 2-5 minutes. NetSuite will display a confirmation message when finished.

Step 4: Verify Installation

After installation completes:

  1. Navigate to Customization → SuiteBundler → Installed Bundles
  2. Search for "Flux Gantry"
  3. Verify the status shows Installed

You should also see these script deployments (Customization → Scripting → Script Deployments):

  • Gantry Suitelet — The main application
  • Gantry Router — The API backend

Both should show a status of Released.

Step 5: Access Flux Gantry

There are several ways to access Flux Gantry after installation:

Option A: Direct Link

  1. Go to Script Deployments (as above)
  2. Find Gantry Suitelet
  3. Click the URL link to open Flux Gantry

Option B: Add to Navigation

  1. Navigate to Customization → Centers and Tabs → Center Links
  2. Create a new link pointing to the Gantry Suitelet URL
  3. Add it to your preferred center (e.g., Financial under Reports)

Option C: Create a Shortcut

  1. Open Flux Gantry using the direct link
  2. Bookmark the URL in your browser for quick access

Post-Installation Setup

Automatic Configuration

When you first open Flux Gantry, the system automatically:

  • Detects your fiscal calendar from your NetSuite accounting periods
  • Creates default configurations for all dashboards
  • Enables all dashboards for all users (can be restricted later)

Enter Your License Key

Before you can use Flux Gantry's full features:

  1. Open Flux Gantry
  2. Click the Settings icon (gear) in the navigation
  3. Go to the License tab
  4. Enter your license key in the field provided
  5. Click Verify License

Configure AI Advisor (Optional)

If your license includes the AI Advisor:

  1. In Settings, go to the AI Provider tab
  2. Choose your preferred AI provider (Google Gemini, Claude, OpenAI, etc.)
  3. Enter the API key for your chosen provider
  4. Select your preferred model settings

What Gets Installed

Flux Gantry installs the following components in your NetSuite account:

Component Purpose
Gantry Suitelet Main application interface
Gantry Router API backend for data requests
Gantry Config Record Stores your configuration settings

Flux Gantry does not modify any of your existing records, transactions, or data. It only reads information for analysis and stores its own configuration separately.

Updating Flux Gantry

When a new version is available:

  1. Navigate to Customization → SuiteBundler → Installed Bundles
  2. Find Flux Gantry
  3. If an update is available, you'll see an Update button
  4. Click to install the latest version

Your configuration settings are preserved during updates.

Uninstalling

If you need to remove Flux Gantry:

  1. Go to Customization → SuiteBundler → Installed Bundles
  2. Find Flux Gantry
  3. Click Uninstall

⚠️ Warning: Uninstalling removes all Flux Gantry configuration settings. If you plan to reinstall later, export your settings first.

Troubleshooting Installation

"Insufficient Privileges" Error

You need the Administrator role or a role with SuiteApp installation permissions. Contact your NetSuite administrator.

Bundle Not Found

If you can't find the bundle when searching:

  • Make sure you're entering Bundle ID 590174 correctly
  • Try searching in a different browser
  • Contact support@fluxfornetsuite.com for assistance

Installation Seems Stuck

Bundle installations can take up to 5 minutes for large accounts. If it takes longer:

  1. Refresh the page
  2. Check Customization → SuiteBundler → Installed Bundles for status
  3. If still pending after 10 minutes, contact support

Script Deployments Not Visible

After installation, deployments may take a few minutes to appear. Try:

  1. Logging out and back in
  2. Clearing your browser cache
  3. Checking in a different browser
